Two printed acts passed by the English Parliament, "An act for setling the jurisdiction of the Court of Admiralty," passed on July 30, 1653, for the purpose of establishing legal jurisdiction in cases involving maritime commerce, and "An act for redress of delays arising by writs of error, and writs of false judgement in several cases," passed on November 4, 1653, which abolishes excessive appeals.
